| Cheryl has worked for over
a decade in people and organisational development. Starting
with a career in training and development, she moved through
roles in Continuing Professional Development, Investors in
People and Management Development before going to run a region
of a large UK consultancy group. She set up her own business
in 2002.
Cheryl’s style is facilitative and full of warmth.
She believes that everyone has a kernel of excellence and
works to enable people to locate it. In her coaching work
she focuses on the client’s understanding of the roots
of their behaviour so that they are able to make fundamental
changes in their style and approach. When training, she matches
her style to the group’s needs and the subject matter.
Her approach to organisational consultancy is straightforward,
challenging and constructive – she’s not afraid
to ask difficult questions.
Her areas of expertise include Career Management and Outplacement,
Management Development and Work Life Balance. During her career
she has worked with a huge diversity of corporate clients
including Vauxhall, Mortgage Express, the Hilton Group, Powergen,
Castrol and Nokia as well as public sector organisations such
as Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service, Bedford Borough
Council, Hertfordshire County Council, the Arts and Humanities
Research Board and the MOD.
